Bayou Pro offers comprehensive buyer’s, pre-listing and new construction home inspections. We will accompany you through a walkthrough and inspection of the home you’re interested in buying, and assess its condition using our multi-point home inspection checklist.

Our pre-listing and new construction inspections include the same services as our buyer’s home inspections

  • Multi-point inspection and walkthrough
  • Roof and foundation inspection
  • A comprehensive report noting all issues
  • Thermal imaging upon request at scheduling (additional fee)
  • Unlimited follow-ups and support from your home inspector
  • Current or potential concerns with the home will be discussed and reported.

MOLD ASSESSMENTS

Indoor mold growth can be caused by numerous factors including water intrusion, poor ventilation, and the presence of unidentified sources of moisture. Bayou Pro mold assessors do thorough visual inspections and take surface and air samples to test for active mold growth.

 We offer several supplementary services for customers including:

    • Sanitization and remediation protocol writing
    • Assistance in the vetting of remediators appropriate for your situation
    • Supervision of large scale remediations
    • Post-remediation verification and clearance testing
    • Recommendations on long-term sanitization and indoor air quality solutions.

INDOOR AIR QUALITY

Indoor air quality can be negatively impacted by a number of factors including odors, particulates, airborne bacteria or viruses, allergens, household chemicals and off-gassing of construction materials.
Bayou Pro indoor air quality (IAQ) consultants use a variety of diagnostic and screening tools to establish a baseline IAQ profile in any indoor environment. This IAQ profile enables us to form conclusions about conditions, causes and possible sources of contaminants. It also provides us with the data needed to recommend solutions for any issues identified.
  
Bayou Pro recognizes that people with suppressed immune systems or otherwise compromised health have heightened responses to the environment around them.
